How many guests can Modern Beach Haven accommodate?
Modern Beach Haven accommodates up to 10 guests
across four bedrooms, with generous living spaces designed for
families and groups travelling together.
Is the house suitable for families or two families travelling together?
Yes. The home has four bedrooms, two living areas, a large kitchen
and plenty of indoor and outdoor space, making it well suited to
extended families or two families sharing a Port Stephens holiday.
Is the swimming pool heated?
Yes. Modern Beach Haven has a private heated swimming pool,
giving guests more opportunity to enjoy the pool beyond the warmest
summer days.
Are the spa and sauna shared with other guests?
No. The pool, spa and sauna are all part of Modern Beach Haven and
are private for your group during your stay. There are
no shared resort facilities.
How close is the house to the beach?
Modern Beach Haven is in Salamander Bay, within an easy walk of
nearby Corlette Beach. Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay and several other
Port Stephens beaches are also only a short drive away.

How many bedrooms and beds are there?
Modern Beach Haven has four bedrooms. The sleeping
arrangements include two king-size beds, two queen-size beds,
a single bed and a sofa bed, with accommodation for up to 10 guests.
How many bathrooms does the house have?
The house has two private bathrooms, along with
bathroom and laundry facilities for guests during their stay.
Is the kitchen fully equipped for family meals?
Yes. The modern kitchen is set up for self-catering, with cooking
facilities and everyday essentials including an oven, stovetop,
microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cookware, utensils and a coffee machine.
There is also a BBQ for relaxed meals at home.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are provided so you can
settle in without needing to bring your own household linen.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Modern Beach Haven provides wireless broadband internet
throughout the property.
Is parking available at the house?
Yes. Parking is available at the property, with additional street
parking options where needed.
Are there separate living areas?
Yes. The house has two living areas, which is especially
useful for families travelling together — adults can relax in one space
while children enjoy the second living or media area.

What is the nearest beach to Modern Beach Haven?
Nearby Corlette Beach is an easy option for a relaxed
swim, waterfront walk or quiet afternoon by the bay. You’ll also have
easy access to other popular Port Stephens beaches including Shoal Bay,
Fingal Bay and Birubi Beach.
How far is Nelson Bay?
Nelson Bay is only a short drive from Modern Beach Haven, making it
easy to visit the marina, waterfront, shops, cafés and restaurants,
or join one of the region’s dolphin cruises.
Are shops and restaurants nearby?
Yes. Salamander Bay has convenient shopping, groceries, cafés and
dining nearby, while Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay and Soldiers Point give
you plenty of additional options for lunch, dinner and waterfront dining.
Are family attractions close to the house?
Yes. Modern Beach Haven is well positioned for family days out around
Port Stephens, including Toboggan Hill Park, dolphin cruises, the
Worimi sand dunes, Oakvale Wildlife Park and the beaches and lookouts
across the region.
Do we need a car during our stay?
A car is the easiest way to explore the wider Port Stephens region,
especially if you plan to visit Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Birubi Beach,
the sand dunes or wildlife attractions. For quieter days, you can simply
stay close to the house, beach and nearby amenities.

A few practical details to help make arrival, your stay and departure as straightforward as possible.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by
10:00 AM. Arrival information and access details
are provided before your stay.
Are pets allowed?
Modern Beach Haven is currently a pet-free property,
so unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate pets during your stay.
Is smoking allowed at the property?
No. Modern Beach Haven is a non-smoking property.
We ask guests to respect this throughout their stay.
What is the cancellation policy?
Paid prepayments are fully refundable when a booking is cancelled
30 days or more before arrival. Cancellations made
after that point are non-refundable. Please refer to the booking terms
shown when reserving for the policy applying to your stay.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A $300 pre-authorisation is held one day before
arrival and is normally released after departure, subject to the
property being left in accordance with the booking conditions.
What should families know about the pool, spa and sauna?
The heated pool, spa and sauna are private for your group.
Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult around
the pool and spa, and guests should follow the property instructions
provided for safe use of the facilities.
